Modernization and Equipment Upgrades of Existing Equipment is a growing market segment.  Many times, older cranes and hoists are mechanically superior to new equipment.  Heavier gearing, shafts, wheels, axles, bearings and brake components are typical of older equipment.  The addition of modern electronic controls including Variable Speed AC Electronic “Inverter” Drives, Flux-Vector Drives and Radio Remote Controls allow older equipment to remain productive while saving capital expenditures.
